Community Television and the Holiday Show

As part of the promotion of the Reading-Berks Holiday Show this year, the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen did a one hour live television show featuring artists/craftsmen. I was asked to participate as this is my first year at the Holiday Show. The television show was broadcast live from the Berks Community Television station in Reading last night from 9:00-10:00pm on channel 99 Comcast Reading and other local Comcast channels.

I thought this show went very well with great enthusiasm and interesting discussion. This was actually my third appearance on Berks Community Television, the other times in association with the Spring Show at Kutztown University. I’ve enjoyed all the appearances, but this one was the most fun (maybe because I am less nervous each time).

Local TV is a great concept and this station does a nice job of it. I support their efforts as well with a yearly donation of art work to be auctioned off. If you were in the area of broadcasting and saw the show, let me know! You can check out their web site at www.bctv.org.
