Are you kidding me? This was a big crowd (until around 4:00pm). Mild weather and only lite rain pulled the people in. I knew it would be a special day when I arrived a half hour before opening and there was already a line of cars to get in. It’s clear that festival attendees flexed their independence to enjoy a day of food, fun, and the ability to bring home something for themselves as well. I know of a few folk who were getting ahead for the Christmas season, I won’t tell who.
My first sale today was of the image Quite Time. This image was purchased along with another, but it was the first selected. The tree frog in the image Quite Time is comfortably spending the day inside the leaves of a marsh grass in the Outer Banks of NC.
Most of the people who added a piece of my work to their personal art collections were from the local area or region. These are people who also appreciated that much of my work is from the central and southeastern PA region. Again today, the images selected represented a real cross-section of my work. Several people opted to make their purchases as framed pieces to take advantage of the quality glass and ability to hang the work right away.
I’ll try to get some printing done to prepare for the weekend. No fireworks tonight as the rains here have postponed them. That’s ok.

Hi Paul,
We just wanted to thank you again for the beautiful photos we purchased today (Standouts and Nature’s Best). When we got them home we realized that they look amazing with others we purchased in the Outer Banks on our honeymoon last year. They certainly bring much need life to our once bare bedroom walls. You are a truly gifted artist. Thanks again!
